We helped Prescouter to build an internal research assistant management portal and reduce the turn around time on the research papers.

PreScouter, is a company which aims at bridging the multi-billion dollar gap between academia and industry. We developed an internal web portal to bring the bussiness of PreScouter online.

Problem

PreScouter approached us with the problem statement of building their internal tools that would be required to unite their staff and the research assistants spread across the world. They needed a robust system that they could leverage to help their research assistants on assignments. The research assistants were distributed across the world and it was tough to collaborate over emails and mailing lists. They needed a single system to keep track of the assignments so that their customers could benefit with increased throughput.

Our solution

We helped them to setup a ruby on rails team in Chennai, India. We created a close-knit team which collaborated on everything from analysis to development to testing. It helped the PreScouter to complete building an web application using Ruby on Rails that helped to:

• Track assignments better
• Keep track of research assistants present across the globe
• Reduce time taken for their customers to produce research output
